The Shamanic Tradition holds the awareness that everything and everyone is interconnected.  We are all relatives and everything is relative.

In their practice, Shamanic Practitioners honour that which is given to them.  

That which nourishes and provides is not taken for granted.

There is an exchange. 

The Winged Ones visiting my place are honoured daily with some food, those whom I didn't get to know are honoured too.  Occasionally, I receive some feathers in return as their exchange.

In honouring All that Is, through taking the time to connect, reflect and through  mindfully walking the Earth, the way towards deeper contentment in life can be found.  

Daring to go further and taking a leap of faith is never wasted time.
